Workplace Financial Wellness Forum 2025 Kicks Off with Focus on Employee Financial Resilience
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – July 30, 2025 – The Workplace Financial Wellness Forum 2025 (WFWF25), a strategic event aimed at addressing financial stress in the workplace, was successfully held today at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara of Malaysia. Organized by WB Asia Events Sdn. Bhd. , the forum brought together corporate leaders, HR professionals, financial experts, and policymakers to champion a new approach to employee well-being.
Themed “Money Moves at Work for Employees Financial Resilience,” the forum highlighted the urgent need for financial literacy as a core pillar of employee wellness in today’s economic climate. The event served as a national platform to foster collaboration across public and private sectors, driving a cultural shift in how financial literacy is integrated into organizational frameworks.
One of the agenda is the forum title “𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨-𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨i’ focusing on the importance of financial health at work and why it matters now more than ever. The panelists explored what employers can do to improve financial wellbeing and discussed how to scale solutions through collaboration.

A key highlight of the forum was the official launch of the regional Employees Financial Wellness campaign. This campaign aims to empower employees with tools and resources through workshops, informative sessions, and personalized financial guidance. The event also featured the unveiling of two major initiatives:
"Money Moves at Work" Book: A practical financial toolkit designed to provide Malaysian professionals with advice and resources to ease workplace financial stress.
"MyCelik@Workplace" Training Initiative: A scalable corporate financial fitness training program designed for easy adoption by organizations to enhance employees' financial literacy and decision-making skills.
Supported by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Human Resources, among others, and co-organized by Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), the forum gathered an expected 300 participants, including 30 Guests of Honor and VIPs and 270 delegates from HR leadership, corporate training, financial institutions, and wellness advocacy.
"The Workplace Financial Wellness Forum 2025 is more than just an event; it is a strategic intervention with the potential to spark long-term change in how Malaysian organizations support the financial health of their workforce," said Dr. Nur Lalua Rashidah Mohd Rahsiad, Director of WFWF25.
